本文には書いてありませんが「卍（仏教）文化圏の我々＝日本で始まった少林寺拳法は、ナチスの暴虐で歪んだ欧米の卍観を、何年かかっても、100年200年かかっても取り戻す使命がある。異文化に対し尊重の念を持つのが真の文化であるなら、いつかきっと卍＝スワスティカの曲解を取り戻せると信じ、少林寺拳法の指導者は卍・合掌・結手に対する主張・意見を唱え続けるべき」との考えに至りました。

Branch Master Atsumi’s essay “Learning from Manji and Gassho/Kesshu”, which is based on the online lecture for American Kenshis, is available in Japanese, English, and French.
