Shorinji Kempo was established by So Doshin, the Kaiso, in 1947. Shorinji Kempo is not only a martial art but also an education system that teaches both techniques and philosophy to train individuals to establish confident, courageous, and compassionate selves and contribute to society. First, establishing a reliable self, and then, seek mutual happiness for oneself and others.  Yokohama Negishi Branch focuses on the art of theories behind techniques with fun!
